KRV Museum’s 1st History Talk of 2020
January 31 @ 10:00 am
Mark your calendar. The KRV Museum’s first history talk of 2020 will be on Friday morning January 31 at 10 a.m. at the Museum Annex, 60 Big Blue Road in Kernville (across the street from the Museum). Tim Kelly, Archeologist with the Sequoia National Forest will be the speaker.
Rumor has it that Tim’s talks and slideshow will give us the scoop on Charles Harley’s gold mining schemes in the Kern River Valley—the infamous Harley Mine Tramway, and Ruby City, and the mysterious gold mill remains up Bull Run Creek.
Did you know that Bull Run and Harley Mine were Charles Harley’s only mining ventures, that he was otherwise a businessman with a rather unsavory reputation?
