KRV Historical Society – Barbara Schultz Education Seminar

March 12 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

March 12, 1:00 p.m. at the Annex.

Aviation historian Barbara Schultz has written several books and articles which document the lives of individuals who contributed a great deal to aviation. Her research is exemplary. She will be presenting a program entitled Endorsed by Earhart: How Amelia Financed her Flying. Amelia Earhart managed to finance her flying during the Great Depression due to the fact that she was an American Icon and the most sought after celebrity to endorse products – from cars to chocolate bars. Amelia was also one of the most passionate supporters of aviation which is reflected in Endorsed by Earhart. Barbara is a pilot and Trustee for the 99s Museum of Women Pilots in Oklahoma City.
