On March 29, 2019, the Lord called our beloved Darlene Randall home to rest in Heaven for eternity.
Darlene was born on June 6, 1936, to Glee and Everett Carroll in Rodgers, Ark. She was married to our father, George Randall, for 59 years until his passing in 2015.
Darlene will be most remembered for her love of family, faith, kids and Christmas. Darlene was responsible for starting Christmas in the park in Kernville, as well as the annual Kern Valley Christmas toy drive, and spearheaded the Kids Against Drugs in local elementary schools.
Darlene is survived by her son, Doug Randall, and his wife Lisa Randall, of Kernville, Calif.; daughter, Brenda Beaty, and her husband, Pat Beaty, of Tehachapi, Calif.; granddaughter, Jessica Randall, of Omaha, Neb.; grandson, Duran McDowall, of Bodfish, Calif.; and twin brother, Dean Carroll, and his wife, Mary Carroll, of Palmdale, Calif.
A celebration of Darlene’s life will be held on May 11 at 10:30 a.m. at the Faith Community Church in Wofford Heights, Calif. It is requested that attendees please wear bright and happy colors.
The family would also like to ask that, in lieu of flowers, donations please be made to the George and Darlene Randall Skate Park. Checks can be made payable to California Recreation Foundation, 2809 Irwin Ave., Lake Isabella, CA, 93240.
