The Kern River Valley Art Association’s Book Store and Coffee House has been open from 6am to 10am every day and is expanding the hours for its espresso bar.
Publishing editor and poet, John Peterson announced to the press that the hours for the entity, located at the Station in Wofford Heights are expanding into the evenings on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Featured at the bookstore are many of Peterson’s own publications from Poetic Matrix Press as well as a recent KRVAA published poetry anthology, with writings from Kern Valley poets, and many other books for children and adults.
Peterson and his co editor from KRVAA, Sandra Hughes, hold open poetry readings there monthly on the second Thursday.
