Aug. 17, 1991 – Oct.28, 2020
Chase Alvin (Racer) White was born August 17, 1991 at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield, CA to proud parents Roland and Susan Chatterton. Chase grew up in the Kern River Valley in the Weldon area. He attended South Fork and then later Kern Valley High School.
A long-time resident of the valley, Chase was a hundred precent all American country boy. He loved country music, loved to sing and dance. He loved skateboards, motorcycles, and cars. Chase got his first car at 13 and it’s been if it had wheels Racer could drive it. As a testimony to how Chase lived life to the fullest, you would often find him with a black eye or in a cast.
Chase was a good father, son, brother and friend. He always took care of his mom. His loyalty and love for his family and friends were fierce. He would be the first one to run into danger and would give you his last dollar or the shirt off his back. He was a lover, happy, outgoing, adventurous, and the life of the party. The proudest moment of his life was the birth of his son Axton.
Chase passed away peacefully at his mother’s house on October 28, 2020 surrounded by friends and family. He is proceeded in death by his father Roland Donald White. He is survived by his mother Susan Marie Chatterton, fiancee Alicia Renee Abilar and son Axton Knox White, sister and brother-in-law Bo and Wendy Adams, brother Zak Zane White, sister Roxy Pedigo, brother and sister-in-law Russell (RC) and Kelsy Pedigo, nephews Carter, Aiden and Roland, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and countless friends.
