The Kernville Chamber of Commerce is planning a Whiskey Flat Days theme for 2025, which will be “Rhinestones and Wranglers,” according to board member Tawnya Torgl and vice president of the chamber Gary Ananian. The chamber is already planning a street dance with a disc jockey. However the chamber has not yet decided whether the dance will be a low-key, modest “rave” style affair or a “Sweet Heart Dance,” because of the date’s proximity to Valentines Day. The chamber will hold Whiskey Flat Days events at the customary time of mid February, at President’s Day, which the chamber announced at its Monday, September 23 meeting. All other details are still in infancy planning stage.
