Another Kern Valley High School athlete will enjoy the next level of competition.

Zach Bushling who just recently finished up at Sierra College will now head to the right coast to play baseball for the University of Conneticut, better known as UCONN.

According to their website, the UConn Huskies baseball team represents the University of Connecticut, in Storrs, Connecticut in college baseball. The program is classified in the NCAA Division I, and the team competes in the American Athletic Conference (AAC).

Bushling was draped by his parents Marcie and Kenny Bushling as he signed his way into becoming a Huskie.

He signed his letter of intent at the Broncs Boosters Reverse Raffle that was held on Saturday at the Senior Center.

Bushling is just another in a long list of former Broncs and Lady Broncs that have moved up to the next level to continue playing a sport they love.
