Broncs youth football squads chopped by Tomahawks

Kern Valley’s Broncs teams were swept in all action as they were at home to entertain the Tehachapi Tomahawks. All four teams came away with the loss.
The closest game of the four belonged to the freshmen squad. They battled hard, but came up short. They final score saw the Tomahawks win 13-6. This would be the lone score for Kern Valley as the other three teams all suffered shutouts in Tehachapi.
Kash Lange scored the lone touchdown in the 13-6 loss. In the contest, Lange also had many runs to move the Broncs offense. He would collect multiple tackles in the game to keep the game low scoring. Other Kern Valley players to contribute on defense were Nolan Baker, Kian Bachman, Wyatt Huckaby, and Xavier Griffin.
JV:
Tomahawks 58 – Kern Valley 0

It was a tough game for the JV Broncs as they got thumped by the Tomahawks in Saturday’s home contest. Kern Valley’s offense was held in check by their opponent. Talon Montes had three completions in the game for 46 yards, Jacob Arellanes hauled in a pair of receptions for 42 yards. He would pick up 13 yards in rushing. Xander Anzaldo led the defense for the Broncs with seven tackles. Luke Carver and Izeck Padilla each collected four tackles, while Montes recorded three tackles in the game.
Varsity
Tomahawks 48 – Kern Valley 0

Kern Valley could not muster any offense in this home battle. They saw the Tomahawks chop through the defense and put up 48 points in the game. Offensive highlights were: Dominic DiPrima completed a pair of passes to Trevor Beaton. He would also catch a pair of passes from Eli Liske. DiPrima converted three first downs and led the defense with multiple tackles.
