In just a short time the Broncs soccer squad is proving to themselves they can be successful.
In the last six seasons they have collected a total of five wins. Last year they were able to earn three victories. They defeated Boron twice and bested Desert.
With wins coming slowly Kern Valley has turned it up this year as they are currently sitting with four wins on the year. They are 4-5 overall and 4-3 in the High Desert League.
That HDL mark is good enough for them to be tied for third place with the Frazier Mountain Falcons. So far this season they have beaten Boron twice, Cal City, and Desert.
From 2013-14 until 2015-16 Kern Valley was held without a win. They won one match each in the 2016-17 as they defeated Cal City 1-0. In the 2017-18 season they also had one win over Boron 5-1.
Their latest conquest was a win over Boron in a HDL match.
Playing at home, the Broncs bombarded the Bobcats collecting the 8-1 victory in claiming their fourth win of the year.
Earlier in the week, the Broncs traveled to Mojave in a non-league match. They would come home with the 5-2 loss.
Kern Valley looked to improve their HDL record on Tuesday as they were at home to face Desert. Then it will be a trip to Frazier Mountain in a huge match in the HDL standings.
