Come summer, Bank of America customers living and visiting the Kern River Valley will have to settle for doing business in person at ATM locations or make the trek outside the valley to visit their bank.
Bank of America officials told 23ABC news that due to the changes in financial needs and behaviors of their clients in the area, the bank is forced to adapt and they have decided to close their location in Lake Isabella. Customers will still have the option of using their mobile banking app and they will still have access to the ATM near Circle Park in Kernville. There are plans of establishing another ATM in Kern Valley Plaza as well.
The bank on Lake Isabella Blvd. will be closing on June 5.
