On November 3rd at 10:40 a.m. at the age of 93 years young, Emily fell asleep in the arms of the LORD, and stepped into the Realms of Glory and into life everlasting to receive her crown of life. She was a Member of Yorktown F.B.C. and a former member of Kernville F.B.C.

She was born on March 29, 1926, in Quitaque, Texas, to the late Fred I. and Velma Curtis McAlister. She was an inspector for the Jacksonville Arsenal during WWII.

Also preceding her in death were her three brothers, George A. McAlister, James F. McAlister, and Donald L. McAlister. Her three sisters, Willie J. Novak, Marjorie M. Brown, and Marilyn J. Spurlock.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Goetz of Star City, Ark., two brothers, Fred L. McAlister of Wilmot, Ark., and William T. (Neva) McAlister of White Hall. Her four sisters, Mary A. Huffty and Glenda Greer, both of Star City, Ark., Donnie (Gary) King of El Paso, Texas, and Brenda (Glenn) Isgar of Glendora, Calif. Her one grandchild, Terrance. A Sweet of Kernville, Calif.

There will be no services.
