American Legion 711 honors Pearl Harbor Vets

On Saturday, December 7, at 1 p.m., members of the American Legion Post 711, Legion Riders, and Legion Auxiliary gathered together to honor members of the military who fought and gave their lives during the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. James Dunn and Richard Wolfe, of the American Legion Honor Guard, gave salute and presented the United States flag to the public in recognition of those soldier’s sacrifice. President of the Legion Riders Daures Stephens read former president of the United States Franklin D. Roosevelt’s declaration which had been given to the public following the attack on Pearl Harbor.
