The championship season continued for some of the Lady Broncs.

Five players and the Kern Valley head coach went to Bakersfield to take part in the All-Star Softball games.

On June 6, the Lady Broncs head coach, Brianna Moss along with her assistant coach Mike Moss led the Blue Team in the Kern County Senior All-Star Game played at Bakersfield College.
Sam Alvarez and Riley Blunkall represented the CIF Champion Lady Broncs in this game.

Alvarez would have the game of her life as she was named the MVP in the 10-8 win for the Blue Team. Alvarez went 3-for-4 and left the yard with a Grand Slam to help her team pick up the victory.
The Blue Team was loaded with players that will continue to play softball at the next level.

According to Moss, several of the players will be attending Bakersfield College to play, while one will play at Cal State University Bakersfield (CSUB). The pitcher from Frazier Mountain, Chaynau Johnson is going to Wayne State in Nebraska, while our home grown talent Alvarez will be playing at San Francisco State.

Three other Lady Broncs got to play in the Kern County Future Showcase All-Star Game.

Helen Hayes, Brenna Acosta, and Sadi Hartman of the CIF championship squad took their turns in the game.
