Several poets showed up for the book reading and signing of author Randy Hayes, whose family also attended, during the celebration.
The Kern River Valley Art Association hosted the event at its coffee house/bookstore located at the Station building in Wofford Heights, Thursday night, October 10.
Hayes read several pieces from his new book titled, “Bits and Pieces of Me,” and signed copies for those purchasing his books.
Editors Sandra Hughes and John Peterson also read during the event along with a few other local poets.
