Coffman finishes fifth in points at Bakersfield Speedway

Wayne Coffman the local stock car driver completed his season at Bakersfield Speedway with a respectable fifth place finish.
He amassed 223 points in his first year driving at the speedway. He competed in the IMCA Modified Division. He was only 76 points behind the leader. On the year Coffman had six Top 10 finishes and qualified for seven features or Main event races this season.
With a few races left, Coffman may or may not make the trip to Arizona to compete at Mohave Valley Raceway. In the IMCA Modified Division, he currently sits in the 18th spot with 131 points. He finds himself 182 points off the leader. He had one Top 5, and three Top 10’s. In the Super Stock Division, Coffman is in ninth place. He raced his way to one feature win this season. Coffman qualified for two features, had two Top 5 and two Top 10 finishes. His points total is 98 and he is 182 points away from the leader.
With the racing season quickly coming to an end, One could say Coffman has accomplished many of his goals and will look forward to improving in the next year.
