Saturday One Spade Youth Packers had a barbeque fundraiser, which founder of the organization, Reid Hopkins and a student Dustin Clark hosted in order for Clark to raise funds to go to Horseshoe Farrier School. The beef and chicken affair was at Frandy Park Campground in Kernville.

After Dustin attends Horseshoe Farrier School he wants to come back and shoe Mr.Reid Hopkins’ horses and mules and then shoe for the rest of the valley. “After this I’m going to come back to the Valley and I’m going to shoe for Reid. I’m going to do his for free since he’s done all the stuff for me to go to Mule Days and everything. And just come back and do the horses in the valley and stay up here, and be a farrier up here,” Clark said.
