Kern River Valley, 23 ABC television reporter Corey O’Leary has become quite the local celebrity! Originally from Colorado, this spunky TV reporter has quite a following, due to his comprehensive and entertaining coverage of the Kern River Valley and all that it has to offer.
He was initially introduced to the area when he came up to cover Whiskey Flat Days with his colleague Char Davenport. His next assignment was the devastating Kernville flood last year. Shortly after his coverage of the flood, ABC 23 geographically updated the coverage of the reporters and Corey chose to be assigned to the Kern River Valley. He now resides in Bodfish where enjoys hiking and bicycle riding. But what he enjoys the most is the tranquility of the Isabella Lake shore line.
The new friends and supporters Cory has met during his KRV journey are vast and many but he did want to give a “Shout Out” to some. The Davenport Family, The Zuber Family, Justin Powers and Gary Aranian he said have helped him. He stated the entire community has been very welcoming.
Cory said, “I’m happy because people are giving me ideas, I just Logistically don’t have time to do everything but I still want people to reach out to me because nobody knows this community better than the people who live here, right? They can reach out to me on my Facebook or they can email me.”
Thank you Cory O’Leary for representing the Kern River Valley. You are appreciated.
