Naval air Weapons Station Chia Lake will be using Isabella Lake for rescue testing June 12 and
possibly June 13.
A US Navy MH-605 search and rescue from Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX-31) will be
conducting rescue swimmer training from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on the days scheduled above.
Training will be over the areas of French Gulch and Piney Point.
All personal vessels and personnel are asked to steer clear of the testing area.
Aircraft will conduct extended hover operations over the lake’s surface to conduct deployment
and recover of personnel.
A rescue boat will provide water safety.
