LAKE ISABELLA – An illegal gambling casino was seized, and the operator arrested on the morning of March 14th. The incident occurred at approximately 11:00 AM in the 2400 block of Cherry Street.
According to the Kern County Sheriff’s Department, deputies from the Kern Valley substation conducted the probation search at a residence where they located the illegal gambling operation. 39-year-old Michael Brown of Lake Isabella was arrested for operating an illegal gambling casino and was taken to the Kern County Sheriff’s Central Receiving Facility in Bakersfield where he was booked on multiple charges including narcotics possession and operating an illegal gambling casino.
