Head coach Wes Woody said, “It was a great day for the Broncs as we were able to win both duals and have multiple kids pick up their first career wins. As a coach these are the moments we coach for. To see them work hard every day and to see it pay off at home with a victory is special for us.”
In tournament matches from last week, Baughman earned a medal at the Highland Invitational. He would pick up a pair of wins by pin in collecting the medal. Carlos Monzo became a first-time winner and pinner for the Broncs as he did both at the same tournament.
On Saturday, the Broncs will make the trip to Visalia to take part in the Golden West Tournament.
